Public Safety Education
The Public Safety Education section provides many different programs on fire education. The Public Safety Education section utilizes a Fire Safety Education trailer in order to teach children about stop, drop, and roll; what to do in case of an emergency; fire drills for the home; and also severe storm drills. The Fire Safety Education trailer is utilized to show the effects and importance of a sprinkler system with a sprinkler system demonstration.
The Public Safety Education section facilitates school and daycare educational trips, station tours, extinguisher training, and juvenile firesetter programs.
